Having considered this new blog format I realize I actually miss focusing on one year. So, I have decided to go back to my old address and simply change a few things around. That way I can stay put, keep my old traffic but still focus on and write about 100 years ago this year. It is thus 1913 and I hope you will find it of interest.

I was thinking of gardens today and recalled the wonderful series Alan Titchmarsh had done. He covers multiple centuries, but I thought we could start with the 17th today. What is lovely about this presentation is the applications we can make to our own homes.
